Above that is a mixture of sound, sand and gravel , which was rinsed over millions of millions by erosion from the neighboring hilly landscape, as well as the humus , which has formed by careful care of the soil.
The wine year 2014 was characterized by opposites. From a climatic point of view, the rainfall and temperatures were irregularly throughout the growth cycle of the vines. The weather was characterized by rain in spring and early summer, followed by drought, excessive heat and generally atypical temperatures in early autumn. In the end, the grapes could ripen under optimal conditions, the z was excellent .
The harvested by hand from the middle to the end of October 2014, the grapes are quickly brought to the wine cellar, which is right next to the vineyard. There they were carefully and gently ground and macerated for 24-48 hours depending on the grape variety to increase the extraction of color and aroma substances. Each grape variety was separated at 28 ° C into stainless steel tanks. After the biological acid breakdown, the new wines were clarified and filtered with protein, then depending on the variety, they ripen approx. After composing the cuvée and almost a year in stainless steel tanks, it was filled in July 2016, then he rested in the bottle until the family released him for sale in November 2021.
