juicy, dry white wine from organic cultivation from the Empordá an der Costa Brava in Spain, approx. 150 km from Barcelona.
The Sol i vent - "sun and wind" - is an honest wine with a striking acidity and a lot of complexity. In the nose you will find aromas of white fruits as well as herbs such as Kamillie, lavender and thyme. It is full -bodied on the palate with a silky mouthfeel. The finish is long.
We recommend that it is slightly chilled to pasta in cream sauce, grilled white meat, vegetable dishes - in particular white asparagus - as well as tire soft cheese.
The sol i vent blanc grows in the sandy, dry floors around the winery in Vilajuiga. 12 years ago, the Macabeu and Garnatxa vines are 100% organic and produce delicious, aromatic white wines. The year 2018 What very hot with extraordinarily little precipitation, the harvest started even earlier than in recent years in the first September week . As always, it was harvested by hand . The grapes from each plot and grape variety are vinified separately in stainless steel tanks, where the wines then tire for a few months on the yeast. The wines are not artificially clarified and only filtered slightly.
